This Netflix True Crime Series Is Said To Be The New 'Making A Murderer'

True crime series' always end up being a hit on Netflix.

Whether it be Steven Avery's story in (Making A Murderer), O.J. Simpson's story in (The People Vs O.J. Simpson), Amanda Knox's story in (Amanda Knox) or JonBenet Ramsey's tragic tale in (Casting JonBenet), America just can't shut up when it comes to unsolved, suspicious crimes.

But now...Netflix bingeing just got a bit more interesting. Netflix just released a trailer for yet another true crime series, The Keepers, which asks questions about the unsolved murder of a nun.

On November 7th, 1969, Baltimore Catholic school teacher Cathy Cesnik suspiciously went missing. A few months later, her body was found. Now, it's 2017, and her murder is still generally unsolved. We're left with soooo many unanswered questions, including: Who killed her? And most importantly, why?

While most questions are left unanswered, some people believe she was about to expose the school's chaplain, who started a prostitution ring.

The Keepers will try to answer some of these questions regarding Cesnik's murder. The trailer hints at corruption in both the government and church, which is giving us some serious Victor Hugo vibes. The series will have 7 episodes and will be released on May 19th.

If you find yourself missing Making A Murderer, this will definitely satisfy your craving!
