If you didn't get the chance to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London, you're in luck. The magic is traveling overseas and coming to broadway!
The U.S. version shouldn't be too different from the U.K. version, because most of the original cast is staying! The original trio (Jamie Parker, Paul Thornley and Noma Dumezweni) will be reprising their roles as Harry, Ron and Hermione.
In addition, Poppy Miller (Ginny Potter), Sam Clemmett (Albus Potter,) Alex Price (Draco Malfoy), and Anthony Boyle (Scorpius Malfoy) will be reprising their roles as well. Yaaaaaas!!!
28 American actors are joining the Cursed Child crew as well, and are most likely studying British accents as we speak.
Cursed Child will begin preview performances at the Lyric Theatre in March 2018 and opening night for the general public is set for April 22, 2018. Don't forget to mark your calendars because tickets will go on sale Oct. 12, 2017! Accio 2018, please.
